Q: If I cannot make it down for a band practice session (or even a few of them), do I need to show any documentary evidence to prove my absence?
A: We would like to think that every band member has a good reason not to skip any band practice sessions with us. As such, you do not need to show us any proof of your absence.
In saying that, though, we will most appreciate it if you would kindly notify any of the exco members in one way or another (SMS, e-mail, verbally or any other form of tangible communication) that you will miss band practice for some days.

Q: Is there a minimum level of participation for band practices which I would have to fulfil to be able to perform on stage?
A: At present, there is no hard-and-fast rule about this, because of practical reasons. There have been cases where the most diligent of band members have had to pull out at the very last minute due to personal issues, and we have had to rush to get replacements because of this. Again, we re-iterate that we would like to treat everyone in Moulmein as responsible band musicians and we hope to be reciprocated in similar kind.
Do kindly note that while it is technically possible to be absent for nearly every rehearsal and then take part in the actual concert itself, the principal player may highlight this to the executive committee, who may choose to find a replacement player for the member.
